“I didn’t want this to happen. I
didn’t want you to have to go through this with me. I’m sorry,” he said, her
sobs growing louder, she pushed her face into his neck crying harder. She held
onto him.
“And I don’t want you to go through
this without me. I wouldn’t want you to be alone at a time like this.”
